Program prakerin disusun dengan menyesuaikan peraturan antara sekolah dan industri. Pelaksanaan prakerin di SMK N 1 Tengaran dilaksanakan di 2 tempat yaitu industri (butik) dan sekolah. Asumsi sementara prakerin di sekolah lebih efektif karena guru mengawasi secara langsung. Penilaian parakerin di sekolah dilakukan oleh guru dan mengacu pada kurikulum, sedangkan di butik dilakukan oleh pemilik butik dan mengacu pada kepuasan konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pelaksanaan prakerin di sekolah dan di butik, serta untuk mengetahui seberapa besar efektifitas pelaksanaan prakerin di sekolah dan di butik pada siswa kelas XI SMK N 1 Tengaran. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMK N 1 Tengaran dengan jumlah 115, dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 66. Hasil uji analisis perbandingan persentase rata-rata data prakerin di butik sebesar 81,25%, sedangkan prakerin di sekolah sebesar 74,14% kategori. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan prakerin di butik lebih efektif dibandingkan prakerin di sekolah. Besarnya efektifitas pelaksanaan prakerin di butik termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, sedangkan prakerin di sekolah termasuk dalam kategori baik.

Prakerin Assesment conducted by teachers in schools and referred to the curriculum, while at the boutique by boutique owners and referring to consumer satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Prakerin in school and in the boutique, as well as to find out how effectively implementation of Prakerin in schools and at boutiques for class XI student at SMK N 1 . Data were collected by observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The study population was 115 student class XI SMK N 1 with 66 sample. Comparative analysis average of percentage of data on the boutiques is 81.25%, while in school is 74.14% . Based on the research results can be concluded that the implementation Prakerin in the boutique more effective than at school. Implementation Prakerin in the boutique included in the excellent category, while in school Prakerin included in either category.
