PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI POTENSI LOKASI DAN UPAYA PEMANFAATANNYA DENGAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK MELALUI MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) BERBANTUAN MEDIA PETA PADA KELAS IXC DI SMP NEGERI 1 PEKALONGAN SEMESTER GASAL TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017

Abstract

This study aims to improve the competence of knowledge and skills through scientific approach of IPS material of Potential Location and Efforts of Class IX C utilization of SMPN 1 Pekalongan through PBL learning model. The results of research on the first cycle of learning results of class IXC students with unfinished category, the result of competency score test average 63.79 and the average score of skills score 73. The results of competency test cycle II average value 90.13 with the category of due diligence, average 83.0. The results of competency test cycle II has increased from the average value of the cycle I 63.79 to 90.13 in cycle II and the average value of skills from 73 to 83 and has been completed klasikal. The conclusion with the scientific approach through the application of PBL learning model can improve student learning outcomes and student skills outcomes.

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui pendekatan saintifik IPS materi Potensi Lokasi dan Upaya Pemanfaatannya kelas IX C SMPN 1 Pekalongan melalui model pembelajaran PBL. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I hasil belajar siswa kelas IXC dengan kategori belum tuntas, hasil tes kompetensi nilai rata-rata 63.79 dan hasil ketrampilan nilai rata-rata 73. Adapun hasil tes kompetensi siklus II nilai rata-rata 90.13 dengan kategori tuntas, hasil keterampilan nilai rata-rata 83,0. Hasil tes kompetensi siklus II mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari nilai rata-rata siklus I 63.79 menjadi 90.13 pada siklus II dan nilai rata-rata keterampilan dari 73 menjadi 83 dan sudah tuntas klasikal. Kesimpulannya dengan pendekatan saintifik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran PBL mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan hasil keterampilan siswa.
