IMPLEMENTASI TGT BERBANTUAN MEDIA KARTU KUARTET UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VII A SMP N 1 KANDEMAN

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) to know the TGT implementation with quartet card media, (2) increase to students' social skills; (3) increase to learning social studies of grade VIIA students of SMPN 1 Kandaman. The subjects of the research was 36 grade VIIA students of SMPN1 Kandeman. The action is carried out from Juli to September 2016. The data collection techniques used were: (1) observation, (2) achievement test, and (3) documentation. The results (1) Learning with TGT quartet card media   can be implemented in Social Studies at Grade VIIA of SMPN1 Kandeman, there is an average increase of six stages TGT with quartet card media, in the first cycle, the score  is 68.75 (good) and in the second cycle, the score is 85.00 (very good) (2) There is an increase average for ten indicators of observance of students' social skills, in the first cycle, score is 48.37 (skilled enough) and the second cycle, the  score is 76.85 (very skilled). (3) There is an increasing mastery of students learning outcomes in social studies as shown in the first cycle 72.22%with had an average of 70.97and in the second cycle it became 88.89%which had an average of 85.00.


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui implementasi TGT berbantuan media kartu kuartet, (2) meningkatkan keterampilan sosial peserta didik (3) meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik kelas VII A SMPN 1 Kandeman. Subjek penelitian adalah 36 Peserta Didik kelas VII A SMP Negeri 1 Kandeman pada semester gasal tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Juli s.d September 2016. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah: (1) observasi, (2) tes hasil belajar, dan (3) dokumentasi. Analisis data mengunakan analisis deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian (1) Pembelajaran dengan model TGT berbantuan media kartu kuartet dapat diimplementasikan pada pembelajaran IPS kelas VII A di SMP N 1 Kandeman Batang, ada peningkatan rata-rata dari enam tahapan TGT, pada siklus 1 rerata 68,75 (baik) dan siklus II rerata 85,00 (sangat baik)  (2) Ada peningkatan rata-rata dari sepuluh  indikator amatan keterampilan sosial peserta didik, pada siklus I rerata skor 48,37 (cukup terampil) dan siklus II  rerata skor 76,85(sangat terampil). (3) Ada peningkatan ketuntasan hasil belajar IPS peserta didik, pada siklus I ketuntasan belajar 72,22% dengan rerata nilai 70,97, dan siklus II 88,89% dengan rerata nilai 85,00.
