Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Praktik Mucikari dalam Mendukung Penggunaan Kondom 100% di Lokalisasi Petamanan Banyuputih

Abstract

Pemakaian kondom dinilai cukup menekan penularan HIV-AIDS. Salah satu aktor yang berperan penting terhadap penggunaan kondom pada WPS adalah dukungan mucikari. Hasil wawancara kepada pengelola lokalisasi adalah program penggunaan kondom 100% masih sulit diterapkan meskipun sudah ada himbauan dari petugas kesehatan padahal sudah 70% WPS menderita IMS. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi praktik mucikari dalam mendukung penggunaan kondom 100% di Lokalisasi Petamanan Banyuputih Kabupaten Batang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional, dengan populasi sebanyak 53 responden dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh maka semua anggota populasi dijadikan sampel yaitu 53 responden. Variabel dalam penellitian ini meliputi variabel bebas yaitu sikap mucikari dan norma subjektif, variabel antara yaitu niat mucikari, dan variabel terikat yaitu praktik dukungan mucikari. Analisis data menggunakan univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi-square. Sedangkan instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sikap mucikari (p=0,024) dan norma subjektif p=(0,031) memiliki pengaruh terhadap niat mucikari, sedangkan niat mucikari (p=0,01) berpengaruh dengan praktik mucikari dalam mendukung penggunaan kondom 100%. Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah responden diharapkan berpartisipasi dalam upaya pencegahan HIV/AIDS melalui dukungan program penggunaan kondom 100%.

The use of condoms is considered quite suppress the spread of HIV/AIDS even though the results are not comparable with the number of the cases. One of the actors who play an important role against the use of condoms in Female Sex Worker (FSW) is the pimps’ support. An interview with managers of the localization shows that 100% condom use program is still difficult to be applied in spite of the call of health workers when 70% WPS has been suffering from Sexually Transmitted Infection (STIs). The purpose of this study is determining the factors that affect the practice of pimps in support of 100% condom use in Petamanan Banyuputih Localization of Batang Regency. This research used cross sectional approach, with a sample of 53 respondens and sampling techniques using saturated sampling. The independent variables are pimps’ behavior and subjective norms, moderator variabel which is pimps’ intention, and dependent variable is the pracitice of pimps’ motivation. The data analysis used univariate and bivariate with chi-square test. The result of this research showed that the attitude of pimps (p = 0.024) and the subjective norm p = (0.02) had an influence on the pimps’ intention while the motivation given by health care workers (p = 0.000) and motivation given by the pimps’ companions (p = 1.000) did not affect the pimps’ intention. Whereas the pimps’ intention (p = 0.01) affected pimps practice in support of 100% condom use.
