Faktor Perilaku Keselamatan pada Siswa Teknik Pemesinan

Abstract

Tahun 2015 sampai 2016 terdapat 7 kasus kecelakaan praktik kerja siswa di Bengkel teknik pemesinan SMK N 7 Semarang. Berdasarkan hasil survei kecelakaan pada siswa disebabkan karena perilaku yang tidak aman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku keselamatan pada siswa teknik pemesinan di SMK Negeri 7 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan total populasi yaitu sejumlah 64 siswa jurusan teknik pemesinan. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Hasil uji chi-square menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang berhubungan dengan praktik keselamatan jurusan teknik pemesinan adalah sikap terhadap K3 (p=0,000). Tidak terdapat hubungan pengetahuan K3 dengan praktik keselamatan (p=0,651) dan tidak terdapat hubungan pengawasan guru dengan praktik keselamatan (p=0,689). Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu sikap siswa merupakan faktor yang perilaku K3.

There are 7 accidents of practical work on the year of 2015 until 2016 at the mechanical enginerring workshop of SMK N 7 Semarang. The survey shown that the accident happened because of students’ unsafe behavior. The purpose of this research is to know the factors which related to the safety behavior of mechanical engineering students in SMK Negeri 7 Semarang. This research used cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study using the total population of 64 students of mechanical engineering major. The instruments used in this research is questionnaires and observation sheets. The chi-square test result shown that the variables related to the safety behavior of the mechanical engineering students through occupational health and safety attitude (p = 0,000). There is no correlation between knowledge of occupational health and safety with the safety behavior (p = 0,651) and there is no correlation between teacher supervision with the safety behavior (p = 0,681). Conclusion of this reseacrh that safety attitude of student was the factor of safety behavior.
