Health-Related Quality of Life Penderita Diabetes Melitus di Masa Pandemi COVID-19

Health-related quality of life mengacu pada aspek kesehatan fisik, psikologis, dan sosial yang dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman seseorang atas keyakinan, harapan, dan persepsi. Studi pendahuluan pada penderita diabetes menunjukkan bahwa 44,4% memiliki kualitas hidup rendah dan 55,6% memiliki kualitas hidup tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan HRQOL penderita diabetes di masa pandemi COVID-19 di Puskesmas Boja II. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Juni sampai dengan Juli 2021. Sampel penelitian ini sebesar 67 orang. Hasil uji multivariabel menunjukkan bahwa variabel usia (p=0,042) dan komorbiditas (p=0,016) berhubungan dengan HRQOL penderita diabetes di masa pandemi COVID-19. Sedangkan tidak ada hubungan antara jenis kelamin, status pernikahan, tingkat pendidikan, status pekerjaan, pendapatan keluarga, durasi diabetes, komplikasi, dan ketakutan pada COVID-19 dengan HRQOL penderita diabetes di masa pandemi COVID-19. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara usia dan komorbiditas dengan HRQOL penderita diabetes di masa pandemi COVID-19 di Puskesmas Boja II.
Abstract
Health-related quality of life refers to aspects of physical, psychological, and social health that are influenced by one's experience of beliefs, expectations, and perceptions. A preliminary study on diabetics showed that 44,4% had a low HRQOL and 55,6% had a high HRQOL. The objective was to determine the factors associated with HRQOL of diabetics during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Boja II Public Health Center. The research was analytic observational with a cross-sectional design. This research was conducted from June to July 2021. The sample of this research was 67 people. The multivariable test showed that age (p=0,042) and comorbidity (p=0,016) were associated with the HRQOL of diabetics. Meanwhile, there was no relationship between sex, marital status, educational level, occupational status, family income, diabetes duration, complication, and fear of COVID-19 with HRQOL of diabetics during the COVID-19 pandemic. The conclusion was that there was a relationship between age and comorbidity with the HRQOL of diabetics during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Boja II PHC.
