PENYEDIAAN AIR BERSIH DAN PERSONAL HYGIENE SISWA SD NEGERI 1 KALIOMBO, KECAMATAN SULANG, KABUPATEN REMBANG

Ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana terhadap akses air bersih merupakan salah satu indikator sanitasi sekolah yang harus dipenuhi. SDN 1 Kaliombo memiliki masalah dengan ketersediaan air bersih, sanitasi, dan higiene (WASH). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penyediaan air bersih dan penerapan personal hygiene siswa SDN 1 Kaliombo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan di SDN 1 Kaliombo pada Bulan Desember 2022 hingga Januari 2023. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa SDN 1 Kaliombo sebanyak 172 siswa dengan sampel sejumlah 89 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi, dan uji laboratorium dengan instrumen berupa lembar kuisioner dan checklist. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan uji univariat. Ketersediaan air bersih di SDN 1 Kaliombo tidak mencukupi kebutuhan warga sekolah terhadap air bersih. Kondisi fisik sumur SDN 1 Kaliombo tidak terdapat lantai, penutup, SPAL, dan jarak sumur dengan septic tank hanya 4-5 meter. Air sumur tersebut mengandung coliform >24000MPN/100ml. Siswa yang menerapkan personal hygiene dengan baik masih rendah hanya 26 siswa (29,2%). Sekolah diharapkan dapat memperbaiki kondisi fisik sumur, menambahkan kaporit, menambah sumber air, serta mengedukasi siswa tentang personal hygiene.

The availability of facilities and infrastructure for access to clean water is an indicator of school sanitation that must be fulfilled. SDN 1 Kaliombo has problems with the availability of clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). This study aims to describe the provision of clean water and the application of personal hygiene for students of SDN 1 Kaliombo. This research is a descriptive study conducted at SDN 1 Kaliombo from December 2022 to January 2023. The population is all students at SDN 1 Kaliombo, totaling 172 students with a sample of 89 students. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations, and laboratory tests with instruments in the form of questionnaires and checklists. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively with univariate tests. The availability of clean water at SDN 1 Kaliombo is not sufficient to meet the needs of school residents for clean water. The physical condition of the SDN 1 Kaliombo well has no floor, cover, SPAL, and the distance between the well and the septic tank is only 4-5 meters. The well of water contains coliform >24000MPN/100ml. Students who apply personal hygiene well are still low, with only 26 students (29.2%). Schools are expected to be able to improve the physical condition of wells, add chlorine, add water sources, and educate students about personal hygiene.
