Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine which exercises were best for improving smash learning outcomes, through frog jumping and multiple box to box jump exercises. This research method is an experiment with the design "two group pretest posttest design". The sample in this study were all volleyball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Petir. The results of this study indicate that: (1) there is an effect of multiple box to box jump training on learning outcomes using sig. (2-tailed) of 0.035 with a significant tarf <0.05, the result of the hypothesis decision is accepted. (2) there is no significant difference between frog jumping training and learning to smash with sig. (2-tailed) of 0.212 with a significant tarf> 0.05. Therefore the result of the hypothesis decision is rejected. (3) Multiple box to box jump exercises are better than frog jumping training on volleyball smash learning outcomes in extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 1 Petir, Serang Regency. The conclusion of this study is the multiple box to box jump exercise is more effective and can be used as an extracurricular exercise for smash success.
