PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA CD INTERAKTIF PEMBELAJARAN GEOGRAFI MATERI TENAGA ENDOGEN SISWA KELAS X

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Untuk mengetahui kelayakan media CD Interaktif materi tenaga endogen kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Purworejo, (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Purworejo terhadap materi tenaga endogen setelah menggunakan media CD Interaktif. Penentuan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X-5 dan X-7 SMA Negeri 5 Purworejo. Metode pengumpulan data dengan metode angket, tes, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif persentase dan uji gain. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) Rekapitulasi kelayakan media pembelajaran sebesar 93,33% dengan kriteria “Sangat layak”. (2) Hasil peningkatan rata-rata tiap individu sebesar 0,66 dengan kriteria “Sedang”. Ketuntasan belajar kelas uji coba (X-5) hasil pre-test siswa yang sudah mencapai KKM ≥ 70 hanya 20 siswa (62,50%) dan hasil post-test sebanyak 30 siswa (93,75%), sedangkan pada kelas penelitian (X-7) hasil pre-test siswa yang mencapai KKM ≥ 70 hanya 21 siswa (65,63%) dan hasil post-test sebanyak 31 siswa (96,88%). 3) Nilai rata-rata afektif untuk siswa kelas X-5 dan X-7 yaitu sebesar 64,38 dan 66,04 sama-sama memiliki kriteria “Cukup baik”. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media CD Interaktif sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran Geografi di SMA Negeri 5 Purworejo dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, baik kognitif maupun afektif.


This study aims to find out: (1) the feasibility of interactive CD media on endogenous force subject of tenth grade in Senior High School 5 Purworejo, (2) the learning result of students in Senior High School 5 Purworejo towards the endogenous force subject after using the interactive CD media. In determining the sample, random sampling technique is used. The sample of this study is the students of X-5 and X-7 of Senior High School 5 Purworejo. In collecting the data, the method of questionnaires, test, and observation are used. Descriptive percentage and gain test are the technique in analyzing the data. The result of this study are: (1) The recapitulation of the feasibility using the learning media is 93,33% with criteria “very worthy”. (2) The average of raising result each student is 0,66% with criteria “average”. The pre-test result of trial class (X-5) who met KKM ≥ 70 is only 20 students (62,50%) and the post-test result is 30 students (93,75%), while in the class where the research is done (X-7), the student pre-test result which met KKM ≥70 is 21 students(65,63%) and the post-test result is 31 students (96,88%). (3) The average of affective mark for X-5 students and X-7 is 64,38 and 66,04 which both of them met the criteria “good enough”. Finally, it can be concluded that the media of interactive CD is very suitable to be used as the learning media on Geography subject in Senior High School 5 Purworejo and it can increase the result of students learning, either on cognitive and affective.
