PENGARUH LOKASI SEKOLAH, PROMOSI SEKOLAH, PERSEPSI DAN TEMAN SEBAYA TERHADAP MINAT SISWA MEMILIH JURUSAN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh lokasi sekolah, promosi sekolah,persepsi, dan lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap minat siswa memilih jurusanAP di SMK Swasta Kota Semarang baik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas Xjurusan AP di SMK Swasta Kota Semarang yang berjumlah 203siswa.Sampel yang digunakan adalah keseluruhan dari populasi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, uji asumsi klasik, dan analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan lokasi sekolah, promosi sekolah, persepsi, dan lingkungan teman sebaya secara simultan terhadap minat siswa memilih jurusanAP sebesar76.7%. 2) Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan lokasi sekolah secara parsial terhadap minat siswa memilih jurusansebesar 9,42%. 3) Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan promosi sekolah secara parsial terhadap minat siswa memilihjurusan sebesar 11,56%. 4) Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan persepsi secara parsial terhadap minat siswa memilih jurusan sebesar 16,7%.5) Ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan teman sebaya secara parsial terhadap minat siswa memilihjurusan sebesar 9,6%.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara lokasi sekolah, promosi sekolah, persepsi, dan lingkungan teman sebaya terhadap minat siswa memilih jurusan AP di SMK Swasta Kota Semarang baik secara partial maupun secara simultan.


This research aimed to find out and anlayze the influences of school location, school promotion, perception and environtment of students’ peer onstudents’ interest in choosing office administration study program at Private Vocational High Schools in Semarang.The population in this study was all students office administration subject in private vocational high school in Semarang, which were 203students in total number. The sample was the whole population The method of data collection was questionnaire.The data analysis techniquewere multiple linear regression, classic assumption test and percentage descriptive analysis. The result of the research showed that: 1) There were positive and significant influence of school location, school promotion, perception, and students’ peer simultaneous toward interest in choosing office administration study programwhich amounted to 76,7%. 2) There were positive and significant influence of school location partial toward interest in choosing office administration study programwhich amounted to 9,42%. 3 ) There were positive and significant influence of school promotion partial toward interest in choosing office administration study programwhich amounted to 11,56%. 4) There were positive and significant influence of perception partial toward interest in choosing office administration study programwhich amounted to 16,7%.5) There were positive and significant influence of students’ peer partial toward interest in choosing office administration study programwhich amounted to 9,6%.The conclusion of the research was therewere positive and significant influences between school location, school promotion,perception and students’ peeronstudents’ interest in choosing office administration study program at Private Vocational High Schools in Semarangsimultaneous and partial.
