Abstract

A Process Standard and an Assessment Standard of Curriculum 2013 have requirements to ensure the objective of education maximally achieved. This study aims to investigate social science teacher’s barriers in implementing of process standard and assessment standard of Curriculum 2013 in Junior High School as well as find out its factors. This type of research is qualitative research in three Junior High Schools in Surakarta. The results of the study revealed that in implementing the Process Standard of Curriculum 2013, the barriers experienced by social science teacher namely calculate the week and hours effectively, analyze the syllabus and learning implementation plan, manage the allocation of time, and implement learning activities. While in implementing the Assessment Standard of Curriculum 2013, the barriers experienced by social science teacher namely the preparation, planning, implementation of the assessment, and processing of value. Such constraints occur because teachers and students are not quite ready to implement the curriculum 2013. However, teachers have been trying to implement the demands of Process Standard and Assessment Standard in Curriculum 2013 with a good.

 


Standar Proses dan Standar Penilaian Kurikulum 2013 mempunyai tuntutan-tuntutan agar tujuan pendidikan dapat tercapai dengan maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hambatan yang dialami guru IPS dalam implementasi standar proses dan standar penilaian kurikulum 2013 di SMP beserta penyebabnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif di tiga SMP yang berada di Kota Surakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam implementasi standar proses Kurikulum 2013, hambatan yang dialami guru IPS meliputi menghitung minggu dan jam efektif, menganalisis silabus dan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, mengelola alokasi waktu, dan menerapkan kegiatan pembelajaran. Sedangkan dalam implementasi standar penilaian kurikulum 2013, hambatan yang dialami guru IPS meliputi persiapan penilaian, perencanaan penilaian, pelaksanaan penilaian, dan pengolahan nilai. Hambatan tersebut terjadi karena guru maupun peserta didik belum begitu siap untuk menerapkan kurikulum 2013. Akan tetapi, guru sudah berusaha melaksanakan tuntutan standar proses dan standar penilaian Kurikulum 2013 dengan baik.
