Abstract

ABSTRAK


COVID-19 telah menjadi masalah kesehatan dunia.WHO resmi menyatakannya sebagai suatu pandemi pada 11 Maret 2020. Secara global sampai dengan 15 April 2020, kasus terkonfirmasi mencapai 1.991.275 kasus yang tersebar di 205 negara dan 2 transportasi internasional, dengan 127.147 kematian. Besarnya angka kejadian COVID-19 disertai oleh luasnya informasi mengenai penyakit ini, tetapi masih banyak terdapat disinformasi dan misinformasi di masyarakat yang berujung dengan kepanikan berlebihan dan penolakan dalam mengikuti rekomendasi pemerintah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai gambaran pengetahuan masyarakat Indonesia terhadap usaha pencegahan COVID-19 serta hubungan di antara variabel tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel berjumlah 1096 dari seluruh Indonesia melalui kuesioner online yang disebarkan sejak 5 Februari 2020 hingga 22 Maret 2020. Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan sikap (p=0,000) dan pengetahuan dengan tindakan individu (p=0,000). Usaha pencegahan COVID-19 dipengaruhi pengetahuan masyarakat Indonesia. Pemberian pengetahuan yang spesifik, valid, dan tepat sasaran dapat meningkatkan perilaku usaha pencegahan masyarakat terhadap infeksi COVID-19.


 


ABSTRACT


COVID-19 had become a global health problem. WHO officially stated this disease a pandemic on March 11, 2020. Globally up to April 15, 2020, there were 1.991.275 confirmed cases in 205 countries and 2 international transportation, with 127.147 deaths. The magnitude of the COVID-19 incidence was accompanied by extensive information about the disease, but there were still a lot of disinformation and misinformation in the community which resulted in excessive panic and refusal to follow government recommendations. This study aimed to assess the description of knowledge Indonesia people about prevention efforts COVID-19 infection and the relationship between variables. This study used an observational analytic method with cross-sectional study design. There was a significant relationship between knowledge with attitudes (p = 0,000), and knowledge with actions individual (p = 0,000). COVID-19 prevention efforts were influenced by knowledge Indonesia people. Providing specific knowledge, valid, and on target was able improve the behavior of community prevention efforts about COVID-19 infection.
