Using Video Game inspired Baluran National Park in Science Education: Anxiety and Creative Thinking Skills
This study aims to know the effectiveness of video game inspired by Baluran National Park to studentsâ€™ anxiety and creative thinking skills on Junior High School students in science education. The research respondents were 126 junior high school students who were from different districts. Both student groups were from Jember disrict and Situbondo regency. They were thought over two weeks. The participants were divided based on the gender. Studentsâ€™ anxiety included computer anxiety and communication anxiety. Additionally, the studentsâ€™ creative thinking skills included fluency, flexibility, novelty and originality. The result of the study indicates that the effectiveness of video game inspired by Baluran National Park is lower the anxiety levels of both male and female student. The studentsâ€™ creative thinking skills can be improved into middle category after they use this game.
