The land-use change as a result of from limestone mining activities at landscape karst area Sukolilo (KBAK) (case study Sumberjati Pohon Village, Grobogan District)
Protected areas or conservation areas is designated to preserve a region to stay protected as well as its existence and to balance the surrounding environment. If there was a mining activities within a protected area, there would be side effects towards physical environment such as land-use change. This Research aimed at analyzing the land-use change as a result of from limestone mining activities at Landscape Karst Area, Sukolilo (KBAK) Sumberjati Pohon Village during years 2009-2017. In this study, the writer used a Image World View (Google Earth), and Topographic Maps Scale 1: 25.000. Imaging Analysis Method series of years 2009, 2013, and 2017. The writer then used spatial analysis Arc GIS 10.1 in this research. The study showed that there were land-use changes in the period of year 2009, 2013 and 2017. The Land-use change was the extended limestone mining located at Sumberjati Pohon Village. There were a massive change of mining land at year 2009 to 2013. There were around 1,02 Hectare area larger than the previous year, and then at year 2013 to 2017, there were a decrease of limestone mining area to 2,23 Hectare that spread in 20 limestone mining location.
