Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media sesuai kriteria ACTIONS-SMART sebagai alternatif pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling berbasis internet of things (online). Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling semester dua berjumlah 60 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan convenience sampling dan instrument pengumpulan data melalui self assessment.  Analisis data dihitung menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kenaikan 22,5% keterampilan perancangan media sebelum dan sesudah distimulasi melalui simulasi dan praktik kerja mandiri. Perancangan media berbasis prinsip ACTIONS-SMART menghasilkan skor rata-rata secara berturut-turut 8,69 dan 8,57 (dalam skala 10), artinya bahwa para mahasiswa mampu menghasilkan produk karya media BK yang telah memenuhi kriteria baik. Canva menjadi satu produk yang mampu menumbuhkan kebermaknaan dan ketertarikan mahasiswa selama melakukan unjuk kerja. Akhirnya, Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling atau Konselor  dituntut untuk memiliki skill atau keterampilan dan kreativitas agar dapat menjadi sumber inspiratif dan mampu memberdayakan potensi diri peserta didik.


This study aims to describe the use of media according to the ACTIONS-SMART criteria as an alternative to internet of things (online) based guidance and counseling services. This research approach is descriptive quantitative with survey method. The research sample was 60 second semester guidance and counseling students. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling and the data collection instrument was through self-assessment. Data analysis was calculated using descriptive statistics. The results showed that there was a 22.5% increase in media design skills before and after being stimulated through simulation and independent work practice. Media design based on the ACTIONS-SMART principle resulted in an average score of 8.69 and 8.57 respectively (on a scale of 10), meaning that the students were able to produce BK media works that met the good criteria. Canva is a product that is able to foster meaningfulness and interest in students during their performance. Finally, Guidance and Counseling Teachers or Counselors are required to have skills or creativity and creativity so that they can be a source of inspiration and be able to empower the potential of students.
