Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa serta performansi guru kelas V SD Negeri 4 Cipaku Mrebet Purbalingga pada materi Peristiwa Sekitar Proklamasi dengan menggunakan metode bermain peran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, yakni siklus I dan II. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan non tes (observasi). Indikator keberhasilannya, yaitu rata-rata nilai ≥ 65, persentase tuntas belajar klasikal ≥ 75%, persentase aktivitas belajar siswa ≥ 75%, dan nilai akhir performansi guru minimal 71. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada siklus I nilai akhir performansi guru 82,66, rata-rata nilai 78,93, ketuntasan belajar klasikal 85,71%, dan persentase aktivitas belajar siswa 68,56% dengan kriteria tinggi. Sementara pada siklus II nilai akhir performansi guru 89,23, rata-rata nilai 80,24, ketuntasan belajar klasikal 92,86%, dan persentase aktivitas belajar siswa 77,89% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi. Hal tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa metode bermain peran dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa serta performansi guru kelas V SD Negeri 4 Cipaku Mrebet Purbalingga pada materi Peristiwa Sekitar Proklamasi. Untuk itu, metode bermain peran dapat dijadikan alternatif metode dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan tetap memperhatikan karakteristik materi dan kondisi siswa.

The purpose of the research is to increase the activities, student learning outcomes, and the teacher performance of fifth grade on SD Negeri 4 Cipaku Mrebet Purbalingga by using role playing methods of Peristiwa Sekitar Proklamasi material learning. This research is a class act (PTK) which consists of two cycles, cycles I and II. Data collection techniques are used test and non test (observation). Indicators of learning success, there are an average value of class ≥ 65, the percentage of completed study classical ≥ 75%, the percentage of the activities of student learning ≥ 75%, the final value of teacher performance 71. The results showed at the end of the cycle I there are the value performance of the teacher is 82,66, the average value of class is 78,93, the percentage of completed classical learning is 85,71%, and the percentage of student learning activities is 68.56% with a high criteria. While in the second cycle the value performance of the teacher is 89,23, the average value of class is 80,24, the percentage of completed classical learning is 92,86%, and the percentage of student learning activities is 77,89% with a very high criteria. This shows an increase from cycle I to cycle II. Based on these results, it was concluded that the role playing methods of Peristiwa Sekitar Proklamasi material learning can increase the activities, student learning outcomes and the teacher performance of  fifth grade on SD Negeri 4 Cipaku Mrebet Purbalingga. Therefore, the role playing methods may be an alternative learning methods in Social Studies learning by taking into account the characteristics of the material and the condition of students.
