Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran Seni Rupa materi membuat benda konstruksi pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Tenggulangharjo melalui model pembelajaran explicit instruction. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 34 siswa kelas IV. Mengacu pendapat Arikunto (2008), prosedur penelitian ini terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pelaksanaan penelitian terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi teknik tes dan non tes (observasi dan dokumentasi). Untuk analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian, kualitas pembelajaran menunjukkan peningkatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I nilai performansi guru 87,84 (A), persentase  keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sebesar 63,38%, dan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa 79,41 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 79,41%,. Pada siklus II rata-rata nilai performansi guru 94 (A), persentase keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sebesar 81,54%, dan nilai hasil belajar siswa 78,46 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 91,18%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Simpulannya yaitu model pembelajaran explicit instruction dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Seni Rupa materi membuat benda konstruksi pada siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar

The purpose of this research is to know increasing of the quality of learning to make Art construction objects materials in fourth grade Tenggulangharjo Elementary School students by used “Explicit Instruction†learning model. Subject in this research are fourth grade students, which amounts to 34. According to Arikunto (2008), the procedural research consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Implementation of the research consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Data was collected by testing and non-testing techniques (observation and documentation), while there used quantitative and qualitative data analyzed. Based on analysis of data research, the quality of learning showed an increase. This result showed that first cycles has the teacher’s mark perfomance 87,84 (A). The presentage of students learning activity were 63,38% and rate marks 79,41 with totally classical result 79,41%. On the second cycles the teacher’s mark performance 94 (A). The presentage of the students learning activity were 81,47% and rates marks 78,46 with totally classical result 91,18%. The result showed that there was increasing from the first cycles to the second cycles.
