Abstract

Keberhasilan pendidikan dapat dilihat dari nilai hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa. Minat belajar dan motivasi belajar merupakan faktor yang dapat memengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) menguji hubungan antara minat belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA; (2) menguji hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA; (3) menguji hubungan antara minat belajar dan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA. Penelitian korelasional ini mengunakan metode ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V berjumlah 171 siswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah proportional random sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis korelasi sederhana dan analisis korelasi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara minat belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA; (2) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA; (3) terdapat hubungan positif antara minat belajar dan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkam bahwa ada hubungan minat belajar dan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar IPA Gugus Wahidin Sudirohusodo Kecamatan Wonosobo Kabupaten Wonosobo. Bertitik tolak pada hasil penelitian tersebut, maka minat belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa harus senantiasa ditingkatkan agar siswa mendapatkan hasil belajar yang optimal.


The success of education can be seen from the value of learning results obtained by students. The learning interest and motivation are the factors that can give an effect to students’ learning outcomes. The purposes of this study are to: (1) examine the correlation of the interest in learning to science learning outcomes of class V; (2) examine the correlation of the learning motivation to science learning outcomes of class V; (3) examine the relation of the learning interest and learning motivation to science learning outcomes of class V. This correlational research uses ex post facto research method. The population in this study is class V students with the number of students are 171 students. The sampling technique used in this research was proportional random sampling. The analysis techniques used in this research are simple and multiple correlation analysis. The results of this research show that: (1) there was a positive and significant correlation between the interest in learning and science learning outcome of class V; (2) there was a positive and significant correlation between learning motivation and science learning result of class V; (3) there was a positive correlation between learning interest and learning motivation with science learning outcome of class V. Based on the research, it can be concluded that there is a relation of learning interest and motivation to science learning outcomes of class V students of SDN Gugus Wahidin Sudirohusodo Wonosobo Sub-District Wonosobo Regency. Based on the research results, the interest of learning and student learning motivation should always be improved so the students will get the optimal learning outcomes.
