Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui hubungan minat baca dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Gugus Larasati, Kecamatan Gunung Pati, Kota Semarang. Penelitian kuantitatif ini merupakan penelitian korelasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif, uji prasyarat, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara minat baca dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS.  Hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya tingkat hubungan yang kuat antara minat baca dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS. Besar kontribusi minat baca dan gaya belajar yaitu 52,27%, sementara 47,73% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara minat baca dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS.


 


The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between reading interest and learning style to students learning outcomes of fifth grade students Elementary School, Larasati Cluster, Semarang City. This quantitative research is correlation research. Data collection techniques used were interview, questionnaire, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is descriptive data analysis, prerequisite test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that there was a relationship between reading interest and learning style to students learning outcomes. Based on these results it showed a strong level of relationship between reading interest and learning style to students learning outcomes. The amount of the contribution of reading interest and learning style is 52.27%, while 47.73% is influenced by other factors. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between reading interest and learning style towards social studies learning outcomes.
