Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the motivation of volunteer Bangjo Smart House Semarang. The approach used in this research is qualitative. The subjects of this research consisted of 1 caretaker, 7 vounteers, and 2 street children assisted of Bangjo Smart House Semarang. Data collection techniques used observation, interview, and documentation. The validity techniques of the data used include the triangulation of the source and method. Data analysis techniques using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, as well as conclusions and verification. The results of the research known 1) the motivation of volunteer Bangjo Smart House Semarang covers two types of motivation are intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation; 2) inhibiting factors include the lack of volunteers and inadequate infrastructure while the supporting factors include the support of partners and the support of parents of street children.
