Media pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing (BIPA) yang bersifat teoretis berbentuk teks-teks kurang efektif karena tidak menstimulus kemampuan pembelajar. Pembelajaran yang terpusat pada pengajar dan mengesampingkan pentingnya strategi pembelajaran multidimensi yang mengkombinasikan tatap muka dan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam jaringan juga membatasi kemampuan belajar praktis dan mandiri pembelajar BIPA. Untuk itu, upaya pengembangan media pembelajaran laman media audiovisual dirasa perlu untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dasar BIPA yang dibutuhkan. Laman media audiovisual juga mengakomodasi kebutuhan pembelajaran BIPA dalam jaringan. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui lima tahap, yaitu survei permasalahan, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi produk, serta revisi dan perbaikan produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk laman (webiste) dan media audiovisual berupa video dialog dan video eksplanasi, serta media pendukung berupa materi pendukung dalam buku pegangan (handbook). Prototipe produk dikembangkan berdasarkan aspek materi, bahasa, penyajian, dan tampilan. Prototipe pengembangan media pembelajaran BIPA dinilai berdasarkan aspek materi dan media oleh dosen ahli materi dan media. Keseluruhan aspek materi mendapat nilai rerata skor 4,12 pada kategori ‘baik’ dan aspek media mendapat nilai rerata skor 4,01 pada kategori ‘baik’. Namun demikian, dosen ahli tetap memberikan masukan guna perbaikan produk. Berdasarkan perbaikan tersebut, dapat dikatakan bahwa pengembangan laman media audiovisual bermuatan materi kebudayaan Indonesia telah memenuhi kelayakan.

Abstract


Learning media of Bahasa Indonesia for Foreign Students (BIPA) which only emphasizes on theories and texts is not effective because it does not stimulate students’ brains to facilitate learning. Teacher-centered learning and the ignorance of the importance of the multiple strategies of combining face-to-face sections and the utilization of the online-based technology limit the students to actively participate in either teaching and learning process or a practical self-study. Therefore, some efforts in developing the audiovisual media website are necessary to do to develope the students’ basic competences on teaching and learning BIPA. Besides, the media website can fulfil the needs of online BIPA learning. This research was conducted through five stages, they were problems survey; data collections; product design; product validation; and product improvement. This research was aimed at making the media website and audiovisual media that consists of video dialog and video explanation, as well as the ancilarry material on the handbook. The products’ prototypes were developed through the aspects of material, languange, presentation, and design. These products’ prototypes were scored based on the aspect of materials and medias by the expert lecturers on either material or media. The expert lecturers stated that the products of this research were ‘good’ with the average score of 4,12 out of 5 from material side and the average score of 4,01 out of 5 from media side. However, the lecturers kept giving some recommendations for a better improvement of the products. Based on those points, it could be said that audiovisual media website development containing Indonesian culture material has fulfilled its requirements.
