EFEKTIVITAS KONSELING KELOMPOK RATIONAL-EMOTIF UNTUK MEMBANTU SISWA MENGATASI KECEMASAN MENGHADAPI UJIAN
Abstract
Kecemasan merupakan suatu keadaan emosi yang tidak menyenangkan yang ditandai dengan perasaan tegang secara subjektif, keprihatinan, dan kekhawatiran disertai dengan getaran susunan syaraf otonom dengan derajat yang berbeda-beda. Beberapa faktor pemicu timbulnya kecemasan pada siswa di sekolah; (1) faktor kurikulum, (2) faktor guru, (3) faktor manajemen sekolah, (4) faktor masa depan, dan (5) faktor persaingan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui pelaksanaan konseling rasional emotif dan tingkat kecemasan siswa dalam menghadapi ujian praktik, (2) menemukan model yang efektif untuk membantu mengatasi kecemasan siswa, (3) mengetahui tingkat keefektifan model konseling kelompok rasional emotif untuk membantu mengatasi kecemasan siswa. Metode penelitian ini mengunakan penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development). Tahapan pengembangan model : (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) perencanaan, (3) pengembangan model hipotetik, (4) penelaan model hipotetik, (5) revisi, (6) uji coba terbatas. Dan mengunakan metode mixed methode design sequence. Hasil akhir penelitian ini adalah model konseling kelompok rasional emotif yang dikembangkan ialah efektif untuk membantu mengentaskan kecemasan siswa
Anxiety is an unpleasant emotional state characterized by feelings of tension subjectively, concern, and fear accompanied by autonomic nervous vibrations with different degrees. Some of the factors triggering the onset of anxiety in students at the school: (1) factor of the curriculum, (2) the teacher factor, (3) factors of school management, (4) factor of the future, and (5) competitive factors. The purpose of this study was (1) the implementation of rational emotive counseling and the anxiety level of students in the exam practice, (2) finding effective models to help students overcome anxiety, (3) determine the effectiveness of the model of rational emotive group counseling to help students overcome anxiety . This research method uses research and development (research and development). Stages of development of the model: (1) a preliminary study, (2) planning, (3) a hypothetical model development, (4) penelaan hypothetical models, (5) revision, (6) limited trial. And using mixed methods design method sequence. The end result of this research is a model of rational emotive counseling group developed is effective to help alleviate student anxiety.
