General requirements

  1. Each authors should be confirmed their authorship, and we encourage the international collaboration. The misconduct of authorship will affect several sanctions, and even ban for author(s).
  2. Each author must have an ORCID ID, for those who don't have one, please create an account The ORCID link must be included during the submission process.
  3. Manuscripts must be related to legal studies, both Indonesian law and the global context with a multidisciplinary approach. Manuscripts must show the advantages and uniqueness of the topic under
  4. Manuscripts must be typed at least 6000 words (including footnotes but not including Abstract and References) A4, 1,15 spaced, typeface using Palatino Linotype,
  5. The manuscript uses English with American style according to English Academic Writing
  6. Each manuscript must be checked for proofreading through a professional proofreader (proof of proofreading is included in the supplementary file).
  7. Each manuscript uses at least 30 references from the latest year’s journal articles (the last five years).
  8. Reference sources must be written clearly and completely, and DOI or link should be provided
  9. The manuscript is completed with an Abstract, a maximum of 250 words
  10. The title must be concise and clear, a maximum of 15 words
  11. Keywords consist of 3-5 related to the topic, not a snippet of the title
  12. Citation models must use Mendeley's standard citation application type: Chicago Manual Style (Author Fullnote) in Footnote form. The Chicago Model is as follows:
    • Journal Articles:
    • Name, “Title,” Journal, number/volume (Year): Page, DOI Link.

  1. Each submitted manuscript must be accompanied by an Author Biography in a separate file (Word) with a maximum of 150 words for each author in the form of a description.
  2. Each manuscript must also be accompanied by an Originality Statement signed by all authors and stamped with 10,000 stamps on the correspondence/main author. Scanned in PDF (not photographed).
  3. Each manuscript must be accompanied by proof of Proofread Professional whose validity can be traced
  4. Rules numbers 15, 16, and 17 were sent together with the submission of Manuscript Files, documents numbers 15, 16, and 17 submitted in the add supplementary file section at the submission process stage.

 

Notes:

Manuscripts that do not comply with the Lex Scientia Law Review’s guidelines and policies will be returned to the author for correction. Template of the manuscript is as follows.

 

General Instruction for Case Note

  1. The cases analyzed can be court decisions in Indonesia or outside Indonesia which have unique and contemporary issues
  2. Maximum of 2 (two) authors
  3. All Authors have ORCID ID
  4. Terms of writing using the provisions of article writing (typeface, arrangement, citation model is the same as the article)
  5. Using valid references/quotes, at least 15 references
  6. The word count is at least 4000 words, including footnotes
  7. The structure is as follows:
    • TITLE
    • ABSTRACT
    • INTRODUCTION
    • METHOD
    • CASE ANALYSIS
    • CONCLUSION
    • RECOMMENDATION
    • REFERENCES

 

General Instruction for Book Review

  1. The book reviewed is the latest book in the last 5 years
  2. Books must be related to the study of law, be it Indonesian law or global
  3. The book being reviewed must be unique and related to the development of law in Indonesia
  4. Maximum of 2 (two) authors
  5. All Authors have ORCID ID
  6. Terms of writing using the provisions of article writing (typeface, arrangement, citation model is the same as the article)
  7. Using valid references/quotes, at least 10 references
  8. The word count is at least 1500 words, including footnotes
  9. The structure is as follows:
    • TITLE
    • ABSTRACT
    • DATA OF BOOK (consist of: Original Title of Book, Author, Year of Publication, Publisher and City of Publisher, Language of Book, ISBN, total pages, and Book Cover picture)
    • INTRODUCTION
    • ANALYSIS & REVIEW (use the title according to the book review, may use several sub-headings)
    • REFERENCES
