PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA MATERI VIRUS KELAS X SMA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL dan menganalisis efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL pada materi virus untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan dua uji coba lapangan yang dilakukan di SMA N 1 Bandar. Uji coba produk dilakukan pada 10 siswa di kelas X MIA 1 dan uji coba pemakaian dilakukan pada 32 siswa di kelas X MIA 4. Uji coba pemakaian perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan one group pre-test and post-test design. Hasil validasi ahli sebesar 89,57% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil uji coba produk sebesar 92,45% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Rata-rata nilai N-gain sebesar 0,58 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dari pre-test dan post-test dengan kriteria sedang. Rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 81,25%, rata-rata persentase keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa mencapai 74,9% dengan rata-rata skor N-gain sebesar 0,63 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan kriteria sedang, dan rata-rata sikap ilmiah siswa mencapai 83%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL layak dan efektif terhadap hasil belajar, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan sikap ilmiah siswa dalam pembelajaran materi virus untuk siswa SMA.

This research aims is to analyze the feasibility of PBL-based learning tools and to analyze The effectiveness of PBL-based learning tools on virus concept to train students critical thinking skills. The research plan is research and development (R&D), and it was held with two field tests at Senior High School 1 Bandar. Product trials was done by 10 students in X MIA class and trial usage was done by 32 students in X MIA 4 class. PBL-based learning tools trial usage was using one group pre-test and post-test design. The specialist validation result was 89,57% with a very feasible criteria. Product trial outcome result was 92,45% with a very good criteria. The average of 0,58 N-gain indicates that there was an increase of learning outcome from pre-test and post-test with medium criteria. The average of students classical completeness was 81,25%, the average percentage of students critical thinking skills was 74,9% with the average of 0,63 N-gain indicates that there was an increase of critical thinking with medium criteria, and the average of students science attitude was 83%. It can be conclude that the development of PBL-based learning tools were feasible and effective in learning outcome, critical thinking skills, and students science attitude in learning of the virus concept for Senior High School students.
