PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN IPA
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri Tegalsari 08 Kota Tegal. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SD Negeri Tegalsari 08 Kota Tegal tahun pelajaran 2011/2012 yang berjumlah 21 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Cara pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, pengamatan aktivitas belajar siswa, serta performansi guru saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Indikator keberhasilan penelitian ini yaitu rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa 68, dengan persentase ketuntasan minimal 75%, keaktifan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran minimal 75%, dan skor performansi guru minimal B (71). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa 73,95 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 73,69%, keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sebesar 74,60% dengan kriteria tinggi, dan nilai performansi guru 85,21 (A). Pada siklus II rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa 81,84 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 78,95%, keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran 81,47% dengan kriteria sangat tinggi, dan nilai performansi guru 92,86 (A). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, dapat diambil simpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw terbukti dapat meningkatkan hasil dan aktivitas belajar siswa, serta performansi guru.
This study aims to improve the quality of science learning in fifth grade students of Tegalsari 08 elementary school, Tegal. The subject of this study is fifth grade student of Tegalsari 08 elementary school, Tegal school year 2011/2012 which amounted to 21 people. The research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection method is done through tests, observations of student learning activities, and teacher performance when learning takes place. Indicator of the research achievement are the average value of student learning outcomes 68, with the percentage of minimal achievement 75%, students learning activities at least 75%, and teacher performance score at least B (71). The results showed that in the first cycle, average value 73.95 with the students' learning classical achievement 73.69%, students activity in the learning process 74.60% with a high criteria, and teacher performance 85.21 (A). In the second cycle, the average value 81.84 with the students' learning classical achievement 78.95%, students activity in the learning process 81.47% with very high criteria, and the teacher performance 92.86 (A). The results showed an increase from first cycle to second cycle. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the type of jigsaw cooperative learning model is proven to improve student learning outcomes and activities, and teacher performance.
