Abstract

Guru jarang menggunakan media dan model pembelajaran yang dapat melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran matematika materi sifat-sifat bangun datar di kelas V SD Negeri Pener 01 Kabupaten Tegal. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa rendah. Melalui penggunaan media tangram dengan menerapkan model PAIKEM, diharapkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa serta performansi guru kelas V SD Negeri Pener 01 Kabupaten Tegal dapat ditingkatkan. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan selama dua siklus, terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SD Negeri Pener 01 Kabupaten Tegal yang berjumlah 19 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui tes dan non tes, sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar pengamatan aktivitas belajar siswa dan performansi guru serta soal tes formatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 75,15% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 79,61%. Rata-rata nilai hasil tes formatif siklus I sebesar 68 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 66,67%. Rata-rata nilai hasil tes formatif siklus II meningkat menjadi 73,47 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 84,21%. Performansi guru juga mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I, rata-rata nilai akhir performansi guru sebesar 83,54 (AB) dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 91,25 (A). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan tangram dengan penerapan model PAIKEM dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa serta performansi guru dalam pembelajaran bangun datar di kelas V SD Negeri Pener 01 Kabupaten Tegal

Teachers rarely use media and learning model that can engage students actively in learning activities on plane of mathematic learning in fifth grade Pener 01 Elementary School of Tegal Regency. This resulted in activity and low student achievement. Through the use of media by applying the model PAIKEM tangram, expected activities and student learning outcomes and teacher performance in fifth grade Pener 01 Pener 01 Elementary School can be improved. Research conducted a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted during two cycles, consisting of the planning, execution, observation, and reflection. Subject of this study is the fifth grade students of Pener 01 elementary school of Tegal regency totaling 19 people. Techniques of data collection is through tests and non-test, while the instruments used are student learning activities observation sheets and performance of teachers and formative tests. The results showed that there was an increase from cycle I to cycle II. Average student learning activities in the first cycle of 75.15% and the second cycle increased to 79.61%. The average value of the results of the formative test cycle I was 68 with a percentage of mastery learning classical 66.67%. The average value of the second cycle of formative test results increased to 73.47 with the percentage of completeness of 84.21% classical learning. Teacher’s performance also increased. In the first cycle, the average end value of her performance of 83.54 (AB) and the second cycle increased to 91.25 (A). Based on the results, it can be concluded that the use of tangram and the application of the model PAIKEM can increase the activity and student learning results and teacher performance in the plane classroom learning on Pener 01 Elementary School of Tegal Regency.
