Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi menulis puisi bebas pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 04 Cibelok melalui metode Suggestopedia. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V, yang berjumlah 40 siswa. Mengacu pada Arikunto (2008), prosedur penelitian ini terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pelaksanaan penelitian terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik tes dan non tes, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil penelitian, kualitas pembelajaran menunjukkan peningkatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa 75,31 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 75%, persentase  keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sebesar 55,37%, dan nilai performansi guru 83,28 (AB). Pada siklus II rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa 80,12 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 92,5%, persentase keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sebesar 75%, dan nilai performansi guru 96,45 (A). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Kesimpulannya bahwa, metode Suggestopedia dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia materi menulis puisi bebas pada siswa kelas V sekolah dasar

The purpose of this research is to know increasing of the quality of learning to writing poetry materials in fifth grade 04 Cibelok Elementary School students by used “Suggestopedia†learning method. Subject in this research are fifth grade students, which amounts to 40. Refers to Arikunto (2008: 16) the procedural research consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Implementation of the research consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Data was collected by testing and non-testing techniques), while there used quantitative and qualitative data analyzed. Based on analysis of data research, the quality of learning showed an increase. This result showed that first cycles has rate marks 75,31 with totally classical result 75%. The presentage of students learning activity were 55,37% and the teachers mark perfomance 83,28 (A). On the second cycles rates marks 80,12 with totally classical result 92,5%. The presentage of the students learning activity were 75% and the teachers mark performance 96,45 (A). The result showed that there was increasing from the first cycles to the second cycles.
