Keefektifan pembelajaran menulis berita siswa SMA kelas IPA dan IPS dapat dioptimalkan dengan perlakuan model penelitian sosial dan model penelitian hukum. Masalah utama tesis ini adalah keefektifan pembelajaran menulis berita siswa SMA di kelas XI IPA dan IPS. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan keefektifan model penelitian sosial dan model penelitian dalam pembelajaran menulis berita di kelas IPA dan IPS. Penelitian eksperimen ini dengan quasi experimental design. Analisis data menggunakan uji anava. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menulis teks berita siswa SMA kelas IPA dan IPS efektif dengan perlakuan model penelitian sosial dan model penelitian hukum. Keefektifan pembelajaran menulis teks berita berbeda dengan perlakuan model penelitian hukum, siswa kelas IPA lebih efektif daripada siswa kelas IPS. Simpulan hasil penelitian adalah pembelajaran menulis teks berita siswa SMA kelas IPA dan IPS cocok dengan model penelitian sosial dan model penelitian hukum. Siswa kelas IPA cocok dengan model penelitian sosial dan lebih cocok dengan model penelitian hukum, sedangkan kelas IPS cocok dengan model penelitian sosial, tetapi kurang cocok dengan model penelitian hukum. Saran: guru seyogianya dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita siswa SMA kelas IPA dan IPS menggunakan model penelitian sosial, sedangkan di kelas IPA guru dapat menggunakan model penelitian sosial dan model penelitian hukum. Siswa kelas IPS hendaknya lebih kritis dan mengoptimalkan hasil belajarnya dengan model penelitian hukum, siswa kelas IPA hendaknya lebih kreatif agar tulisan dapat dipublikasikan ke berbagai media.
Abstract
The effectiveness of News Writing Learning with Social and Jurisprudential Inquiry Implementation in Science and Social High School Students. The main problem discussed in this thesis is the effectiveness of news writing learning in science and social high school students of grade XI. This study is aimed to determine the effectiveness of social and jurisprudential model in news writing learning in science and social high school students. This experimental study is using quasi experimental design. The analysis data used is anava test. The result shows that news writing learning in science and social high school students is effective by implementing Social and Jurisprudential Inquiry research models. The effectiveness of news writing learning is different with the implementation of jurisprudential model, science class student is more effective than social class students. The conclusion of the result is the news writing learning of science and social high school students is suitable to social and jurisprudential inquiries. Social inquiry is suitable with science class students and the class is more suitable with jurisprudential inquiry, whereas social class is suitable with social inquiry but less suitable with jurisprudential inquiry. Recommendation: in news writing learning in science and social classes, teachers can use social inquiry, whereas in science class, teachers can use both social and jurisprudential inquiries. Social class should be more critical and optimal for the learning result by jurisprudential inquiry; the science class should be more creative so that their writing can be published in medium.
