Modernisasi Industrial Perdesaan di Tempuran Magelang 1990-2019

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai modernisasi yang terjadi pada masyarakat perdesaan Kecamatan Tempuran sebagai akibat adanya pertumbuhan dan perkembangan perusahaan industri yang ada di sekitar lingkungan mereka.  Eksistensi dari industri yang ada di Tempuran tersebut bercampur dengan fungsi-fungsi lain seperti permukiman, pertanian, jasa, dan perdagangan. Hal demikian kemudian menjadikan masyarakat perdesaan Tempuran berubah mengikuti perkembangan industri yang ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah yang terdiri dari empat tahapan meliputi heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) masyarakat Tempuran secara terbuka menerima masuknya industrialisasi sehingga terjadi beberapa perubahan pada wilayah Tempuran beserta masyarakatnya. (2) Beberapa perubahan yang muncul diantaranya seperti bertambahnya jumlah penduduk, perkembangan mata pencaharian, perkembangan sektor ekonomi, alih fungsi lahan, perluasan kawasan industri, modernisasi, hingga konflik yang tak terhindarkan. (3) Eksistensi dari BLK sebagai lembaga permerintahan selain membantu mempersiapkan dan meningkatkan kompetensi dari tenaga kerja juga berperan dalam meningkatkan modernisasi pendidikan masyarakat Tempuran.

ABSTRACT

This study discusses the modernization that has occurred in rural communities in Tempuran District as a result of the growth and development of industrial companies around their environment. The existence of the industry in Tempuran is mixed with other functions such as settlements, agriculture, services and trade. This then made the Tempuran rural community change following the development of the existing industry. This study uses historical research methods which consist of four stages including heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of the study show that (1) the people of Tempuran openly accept the introduction of industrialization so that several changes occur in the Tempuran area and its people. (2) Some of the changes that have arisen include increasing population, livelihood development, development of the economic sector, land conversion, expansion of industrial areas, modernization, to the inevitable conflict. (3) The existence of the BLK as a government institution apart from helping prepare and improve the competence of the workforce also plays a role in increasing the modernization of Tempuran community education.
