These innovative models, exemplified by ChatGPT, leverage robust transformer algorithms to comprehend and generate text like human language. Despite their prowess, LLMs are prone to hallucinations, presenting inaccuracies as facts. Unraveling the retained knowledge within these models proves challenging. This paper delves into the multifaceted use of ChatGPT as a large language model, exploring its capability to generate concise summaries from extensive text and addressing the phenomenon of hallucinations. Furthermore, the study showcases ChatGPT's proficiency in extracting crucial information from large datasets, such as revealing the top ten cited papers in the realm of artificial intelligence. The manuscript not only illustrates the practical application of artificial intelligence in research but also emphasizes the importance of utilizing these models effectively, particularly in the context of conducting precise literature reviews.</p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Kemajuan baru-baru ini dalam kecerdasan buatan telah melahirkan model bahasa besar (LLM), terutama yang mampu memahami pembelajaran mendalam dan pemrosesan bahasa manusia. Model-model inovatif ini, yang diwakili oleh ChatGPT, memanfaatkan algoritma transformer yang mampu untuk memahami dan menghasilkan teks seperti bahasa manusia. Meskipun memiliki kemampuan, LLM rentan terhadap halusinasi, yakni menyajikan ketidakakuratan sebagai fakta. Menggali pengetahuan yang terdapat pada model-model tersebut sangat menarik. Artikel ilmiah ini menggali penggunaan serbaguna ChatGPT sebagai model bahasa besar, mengeksplorasi kemampuannya untuk menghasilkan ringkasan singkat dari teks yang luas dan mengatasi fenomena halusinasi. Focused on the changing landscape of the teaching profession due to technology, particularly AI, the study aims to evaluate AI's contributions to virtual learning, analyze its advantages and threats, and propose optimal implementation solutions. Utilizing a qualitative hermeneutic phenomenological approach, insights were gathered from 20 UIN Walisongo Semarang students in Indonesia. Results emphasize AI's versatile applications, highlighting positive impacts on learning quality, personalization, and practical opportunities. However, attention is needed for addressing negative consequences, including technology addiction, social issues, mental health concerns, reduced creativity, and high implementation costs. The study underscores the crucial role of teachers and envisions a collaborative future where AI and human educators synergize to enhance critical thinking and social interaction, advocating for a balanced approach to AI integration in education.</p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak dari implementasi Kecerdasan Buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) dalam dunia pendidikan selama pandemi Covid-19, dengan meninjau peran ganda AI sebagai kekuatan transformatif dan potensi ancaman. Berfokus pada perubahan paradigma profesi pengajar akibat teknologi, khususnya AI, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kontribusi AI dalam pembelajaran virtual, menganalisis keuntungan dan ancamannya, serta mengusulkan solusi implementasi yang optimal. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi hermeneutik kualitatif, informasi diperoleh dari 20 mahasiswa UIN Walisongo Semarang di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menekankan aplikasi AI yang serbaguna, menyoroti dampak positif pada kualitas pembelajaran, personalisasi, dan peluang praktis. Namun, perhatian diperlukan untuk mengatasi dampak negatifnya, termasuk kecanduan teknologi, masalah sosial, masalah kesehatan mental, berkurangnya kreativitas, dan biaya implementasi yang tinggi. Using a pre-experimental one-group pre and post-test design, 30 students from SMPN 9 Pontianak were selected through cluster-random sampling. Data collected via pre and post-tests underwent rigorous statistical analysis, demonstrating that Vocaroo was effective in fricative articulation instruction. Statistical evidence, notably the t-test (11.037 &amp;gt; 2.045), supports this finding, with 29 degrees of freedom at a significance level of 0.05. Hypothesis Ha was accepted, and null hypothesis Ho was rejected as the t-test surpassed the critical value. The treatment's effect size, 1.88, highlights its pedagogical impact. Vocaroo emerges as an effective medium with a strong effect, and teachers recommend it for dental fricative pronunciation exercises.</p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Penelitian ini menyelidiki integrasi Vocaroo untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan fricative dental siswa kelas tujuh dalam teks deskriptif. Dengan menggunakan desain pra-eksperimental pre dan post-test satu kelompok, 30 siswa SMPN 9 Pontianak dipilih secara acak kluster. Data yang terkumpul melalui pre dan post-test mengalami analisis statistik yang ketat, menunjukkan Vocaroo efektif dalam instruksi pelafalan fricative. Bukti statistik, terutama uji-t (11,037 &gt; 2,045), mendukung temuan ini, dengan 29 derajat kebebasan pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05. Hipotesis Ha diterima, hipotesis nol Ho ditolak karena nilai uji-t melampaui nilai kritis. Besar efek perlakuan, 1,88, menyoroti dampak pedagogisnya. However, despite recognising students' diverse characteristics, teachers often adhere to uniform teaching methods. This reluctance may be due to a lack of experience with independent learning systems, limited technological proficiency, and restricted access to educational resources. The objectives of this research include assessing the impact of differentiated learning on the numeracy skills of fifth-grade students at SDN Banyurip Ageng. The study employs quantitative methods within a pre-experimental design framework. The results indicate that differentiated learning positively affects numeracy skills in fifth-grade students at SDN Banyurip Ageng. Recommendations for educators include considering the adoption of differentiated learning models to enhance numeracy skills and emphasizing the importance of improving students' mathematical abilities.</p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Kurikulum Merdeka dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan minat masing-masing siswa, mempromosikan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang mengutamakan gaya belajar siswa tanpa menimbulkan tekanan eksternal. Namun, meskipun menyadari karakteristik siswa yang beragam, guru sering kali tetap menggunakan metode pengajaran yang seragam. Keraguan ini mungkin disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengalaman dengan sistem pembelajaran mandiri, keterbatasan penguasaan teknologi, dan terbatasnya akses ke sumber daya pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini termasuk menilai dampak pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap keterampilan numerasi siswa kelas lima di SDN Banyurip Ageng. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimental. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi memiliki efek positif terhadap keterampilan numerasi siswa kelas lima di SDN Banyurip Ageng. The main problem of this research is related to the nation's noble values ​​and morals, which are associated with the character of students who do not match the Pancasila student profile. These character problems occur throughout Indonesia, not only in cities but also in villages. Guru Penggerak plays an essential role in the process of developing the character of students at school. This research aims to determine the influence of Guru Penggerak on the profile of Pancasila students. The research method uses survey research with correlation techniques. The results of the research show that the profile of Pancasila students is influenced by Guru Penggerak, namely as agents of change in the world of education whose role is to create believers who have faith in God Almighty and have noble morals, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning and creativity. Guru Penggerak is expected to focus more on guiding students to learn according to their potential and needs but must still be in accordance with the Pancasila student profile.</p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Pendidikan pada hakikatnya tidak hanya mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif, tetapi juga karakter siswa. Permasalahan utama penelitian ini adalah terkait dengan nilai-nilai luhur dan moral bangsa yang berkaitan dengan karakter mahasiswa yang tidak sesuai dengan profil mahasiswa Pancasila. Permasalahan karakter ini terjadi di seluruh Indonesia, tidak hanya di kota tetapi juga di desa. Guru penggerak memegang peranan penting dalam proses pengembangan karakter siswa di sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab pengaruh guru penggerak terhadap profil siswa Pancasila. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian survei dengan teknik korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil siswa Pancasila dipengaruhi oleh guru penggerak, yaitu sebagai agen perubahan dalam dunia pendidikan yang berperan menciptakan manusia yang beriman dan bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berakhlak mulia, berwawasan kebangsaan, gotong royong, mandiri, bernalar kritis dan kreatif. This research employs a qualitative method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of this study were vice principals in charge of curriculum, teachers, and students. The validity of the data was ensured through source triangulation. The data analysis techniques used in this study involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results indicate that: (1) SMA N 1 Pati has implemented the zoning system in <em>PPDB</em>. However, one of the main challenges is the difficulty in identifying outstanding students due to the dominance of the zoning admission route. (2) The implementation of the zoning system has impacted the academic culture at SMA N 1 Pati, leading to lower student interest in learning, a decline in academic performance compared to previous years, and a decrease in students’ politeness towards teachers. To maintain a strong academic culture, SMA N 1 Pati has integrated character education into classroom learning and extracurricular activities.</p> <p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p> <p>Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan sistem zonasi dalam Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) di sekolah-sekolah favorit dan dampaknya terhadap budaya akademik di sekolah-sekolah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru, dan siswa. Keabsahan data dipastikan melalui triangulasi sumber. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) SMA N 1 Pati telah menerapkan sistem zonasi dalam PPDB. Namun, salah satu tantangan utamanya adalah sulitnya mengidentifikasi siswa berprestasi karena dominasi jalur zonasi. (2) Penerapan sistem zonasi berdampak pada budaya akademik di SMA N 1 Pati, yaitu menurunnya minat belajar siswa, menurunnya prestasi akademik dibandingkan tahun-tahun sebelumnya, dan menurunnya kesopanan siswa terhadap guru.
