Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA melalui model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBI) berbantuan media audiovisual pada kelas IVA SDN Wonosari 02 Semarang. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari tiga siklus, meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan nontes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) keterampilan guru di siklus I adalah 28 (baik), siklus II 32 (baik) dan siklus III sebesar 38 (sangat baik), (2) aktivitas siswa di siklus I adalah 25,56 (cukup), siklus II sebesar 30,37 (baik) dan siklus III sebesar 36,94 (sangat baik), dan (3) rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 68 (baik) , siklus II sebesar 74 (baik), dan siklus III sebesar 89 (sangat baik). Simpulan penelitian ini adalah melalui model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media audiovisual dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA meliputi hasil keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar.

 

The research aimed to improve science instructional through problem-based instruction model assisted audiovisual media in IVA grade SDN 02 Wonosari Semarang. The design of the research used classroom action research consisted of three cycles, including the planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques were test and nontes. The data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative analysis technique. The results of research showed that (1) the skills of teachers in the first cycle was 28 (good), cycle II 32 (good) and the third cycle of 38 (very good), (2) the activity of students in the first cycle was 25,56 (enough), the second cycle was 30, 37 (good) and the third cycle was 36,94 (very good), (3) the average result of learning in first cycle was 68 (good), the second cycle was 74 (good), and the third cycle was 89 (very good). The conclusion of research was through problem-based instruction model assisted audiovisual media can improve the quality of instructional science that include student learning outcomes, skills of teacher, and student activities.
