Abstrak

Implementasi pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan dalam pembentukan karakter kedisiplinan, kejujuran /sportivitas, tanggung jawab, sopan santun, dan hubungan social, Tujuan umum penelitian yaitu menghasilkan implementasi pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatan dalam pembentukan karakter kedisiplinan, kejujuran /sportivitas, tanggung jawab, sopan santun, dan hubungan sosial. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kwantitatif dan kualitatif dengan sarnpel. 390 siswa SMP se-Kecamatan Pedurungan, Semarang, yaitu: SMP Negeri 14; SMP Negeri 15; SMP Negeri 34; SMP Empu Tantular; SMP Mardisiswa 2; SMP Atthohiriyah. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket. Uji validitas instrumen angket Karakter Siswa dalam Kondisi awal dan kondisi akhir seluruh item valid dan reliabel. Analisis data menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kondisi awal karakter siswa SMP se¬Kecamatan Pedurungan kota Semarang. Kondisi awal karakter siswa secara umum 67,8% dan pada kondisi akhir menjadi 80,6%, terjadi peningkatan 12,8%. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu pembelajaran Penjasorkes yang bermuatan pengembangan nilai-nilai karakter meningkatkan karakter siswa. Disarankan pengampu kebijaksanaan, para guru, khususnya guru Penjasorkes mengimplementasikan pengembangan nilai-nilai karakter dalam setiap mata pelajaran.

 

Abstract

The research problems are how the implementation of health and Physical sport education towards character building on discipline, honesty, responsibility, politeness, and social relationship. The objective of this research is to gain the implementation of health and Physical education towards character building on discipline, honesty, responsibility, politeness, and social relationship.This research used quantitative and qualitative descriptive approach. The sample was 390. SMP students in Pedurungan sub-district Semarang. It consisted of SMP Negeri 14, SMP Negeri 15, SMP Negeri 34, SMP Empu Tantular, SMP Mardisiswa 2, and SMP Atthohiriyah. The instrument used questionnaire. The instrument validity test of questionnaire for student characters in the beginning and the final condition was valid and reliable. The data analysis used t-test.The result showed that in the beginning condition of SMP student characters in Pedurungan sub-district Semarang, Generally, the student character reached 67.8% in the beginning condition and 80.6% in the end. It means that the increasing reached 12.8%.The conclusion is health and sport education learning which focus on character values development is able to improve the student characters. The suggestion is stakeholders, teachers, especially health and sport education teachers in order to implement the character values development in every subject.
