Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui  pelaksanaan layanan konseling kelompok di SMA, tingkat self-eficacy akademik siswa SMA Kesatrian 1 Semarang, menemukan model konseling kelompok dengan teknik problem solving untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy akademik siswa, dan efektifitas model konseling kelompok dengan teknik problem solving untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy akademik siswa. Penelitian ini adalah sebuah penelitian dan pengembangan. Model konseling kelompok dengan teknik problem solving untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy akademik siswa siswa diujicobakan kepada delapan orang siswa sebagai subjek penelitian yang dipilih secara randomisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model konseling kelompok dengan teknik problem solving efektif untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy akademik siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perubahan tingkat self-efficacy akademik siswa sebelum diberikan perlakuan (pre-test) dan setelah diberikan perlakuan (post-test) sebesar 28,4%. Peneliti menyarankan bahwa guru bimbingan dan konseling sebaiknya meningkatkan kompetensi sebagai praktisi BK, dan meningkatkan mutu layanan konseling kelompok di sekolah seperti penerapan model konseling kelompok dengan teknik problem solving untuk meningkatkan self-efficacy akademik siswa.

 

This study aims to investigate the implementation of counseling services at the high school group, the level of self-eficacy academic high school students Kesatrian 1 Semarang, find group counseling model with problem solving techniques to improve students' academic self-efficacy, and effectiveness of group counseling model with problem solving techniques to improve self -efficacy academic students. This study is a research and development. Group counseling model with problem solving techniques to improve students' academic self-efficacy of students tested to 8 students as research subjects were selected randomly. The results showed that group counseling model with effective problem solving techniques to improve students' academic self-efficacy. This is indicated by changes in the level of students' academic self-efficacy before being given treatment (pre-test) and after a given treatment (post-test) was 28.4%. Researchers suggest that teachers 'guidance and counseling should increase the competence of practitioners BK, and improve the quality of group counseling services in schools such as the application of group counseling model with problem solving techniques to improve students' self-efficacy academic.
