Abstract

Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana program pelatihan bagi Guru Matematika dalam
mendesain MathCityMap di taman kota dapat dilaksanakan untuk mendukung Program Smart City Kota
Semarang. Studi eksplorasi dilaksanakan melibatkan 20 guru matematika SMP di Kota Semarang melalui
sebuah program pelatihan guru. Kegiatan diawali dengan penjelasan konsep math trails dengan teknologi digital
yang dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Matematika FMIPA UNNES dilanjutkan praktik di lingkungan sekolah
masing-masing dan beberapa taman kota di Semarang, seperti di Kawasan Kota Lama, Tugu Muda, Taman
Indonesia Kaya, Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah Keseluruhan tasks yang dibuat oleh para peserta pelatihan ini
direview oleh MathCityMap Reviewers, hasilnya sebagian besar tasks dinyatakan layak untuk dipublikasikan
dan digunakan untuk umum, sedangkan lainnya sudah sesuai dengan kriteria dan dapat digunakan secara private
dan dapat dipublikasikan untuk umum dengan beberapa perbaikan minor sesuai saran dari reviewer. Program
peningkatan profesional guru ini perlu untuk dilaksanakan berkesinambungan dan diterapkan di daerah-daerah
lain.
