Abstract

Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memecahkan permasalahan yang dihadapi guru dalam proses belajar-mengajar, khususnya media pembelajaran, karena media pembelajaran merupakan alat bantu yang penting dalam proses belajar-mengajar. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) bagaimanakah karakteristik media VCD konteks pertanian, (2) bagaimanakah prinsip pengembangan media tersebut, dan (3) bagaimanakah prototipe media pembelajaran dan buku panduannya pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia aspek mendengarkan dan menulis pengumuman di SD/MI kelas IV semester 2. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pengembangan model Borg and Gall dengan modifikasi lima tahapan (analisis teoretis dan praktis, analisis kebutuhan peserta didik dan guru, penyusunan prototipe media VCD pembelajaran konteks pertanian, uji ahli dan guru, dan revisi prototipe berdasarkan uji ahli dan guru. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah peserta didik dan guru di wilayah Kabupaten Brebes, ahli media dan materi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) karakteristik VCD sebagai media pembelajaran di SD/ MI kelas IV dikembangkan berdasarkan empat aspek, yakni: kemasan; isi VCD; konteks pertanian; dan aspek keterampilan berbahasa, (2) prinsip pengembangan media VCD adalah fixative, manipulative, dan distributive property, dan (3) prototipe VCD yang dikembangkan adalah media VCD pembelajaran konteks pertanian dan buku panduannya yang mengedepankan pertanian daerah.

 

The results of this study is expected to solve the problems faced by teachers in the teaching-learning process, especially learning media, as learning media is an important tool in the teaching-learning process. Problems of this study are (1) how the characteristics of the agricultural context VCD media, (2) how the principle of the development of the media, and (3) how is the prototype of the media and guide books in learning and teaching Indonesian of listening and writing announcement in SD / MI grade IV semester 2. The approach of this research is the development model of Borg and Gall by modifying five stages (theoretical and practical analysis, needs analysis of learners and teachers, preparation of the prototype of VCD learning media of agriculture context, testing experts and teachers, and revision the prototype based on the test expert and teachers. Source of data in this research is the students and teachers in Brebes Region, a media expert and materials. Results of this study are: (1) the characteristics of VCD as learning media in SD / MI grade IV is developed based on four aspects, namely: packaging; content VCD; agricultural context; and all aspects of language skills, (2) the principle of media development is a fixative, manipulative, and the distributive property, and (3) the prototype that is developed is VCD learning media learning of agricultural context and guide books that promote local agriculture.
