PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PREDICT, OBSERVE, EXPLAIN DENGAN BANTUAN MEDIA FOTO PADA MATERI STRUKTUR DAN FUNGSI JARINGAN TUMBUHAN
Abstract
Purpose of this study is to determine that student learning outcomes with use of POE learning model and the help of photo media on structure and function of plant tissues material is better than discussions learning. The sample of this study are all of the student in class VIII B and VIII C SMPN 14 Semarang which selected with cluster random sampling. Independent variable in this study is POE learning model and the help of media photo. Dependent variable is student learning outcomes (pretest-posttest delta and students final grades), while control variable is curriculum, time allocated, teacher, and material structure and function of plant tissues. The study design of this study is Experiment with pretest-posttest design group. Data were analyzed using t test. T test results of the pretest-posttest delta obtained tcount > ttable,is 2.001 > 2.000 and t test of students final grades obtained tcount > ttable,is 5.275 > 2.000. The conclusions of this study is student learning outcomes with use of POE learning model and the help of photo media on structure and function of plant tissues material is better than discussions learning.
