Abstrak:

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan unjuk kerja siswa dan mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran eksperimen inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan My Own Dictionary untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep siswa SMP RSBI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan control group pre-test post-test design. Rata-rata persentase unjuk kerja siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,50% dan kelas kontrol  sebesar 81,40%. Gain <g> pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh 0.72 (tinggi) dan kelas kontrol diperoleh 0.66 (sedang). Pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal 82% dan kelas kontrol 68%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan My Own Dictionary efektif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan unjuk kerja siswa SMP RSBI.

Abstract:

The purposes of this research were describing students’ performance and knowing the effectiveness of  guided inquiry experiment learning by helping My Own Dictionary to increase the concepts achievement of RSBI Junior High School students. This research used experimental method with pre-test post-test control group design. The average score of students’ performance was 82,50% and control group was 81,40%. The gain <g> of experiment group was obtained 0.72 (high) and control group was obtained 0.66 (medium). The classical mastery of experiment group was 82% and the control group was 68%. The results of the research showed that application of guided inquiry experiment learning by helping My Own Dictionary effective to increase the concepts achievement and performance of RSBI Junior High School  students.
