The Forum Ilmu Sosial published innovative research encompassed within the social sciences that include. Focus and scope in this journal relating to sociology, anthropologhy, political science, history, geography and related disciplines. Contributions are welcome in any suitable form, including critical essays, reviews of significant topics, case studies, theoretical and empirical articles, and statistical analysis.

Peer Review Process

The journal uses blind system for peer-review; both reviewers and authors identities remain anonymous. The paper will be peer-reviewed by at least two experts; one or more reviewers from outside and one editor from the journal typically involve in reviewing a submission.

Regarding prior publication, we understand that authors and institutions appreciate clarity on publisher policies on prior publication and how these might sit alongside institutional requirements for authors to deposit their e-theses.

To avoid any doubt, Forum Ilmu Sosial does not count publication of an academic thesis as prior publication.
