RESPON KOMUNITAS PUNK TERHADAP STIGMA DARI MASYARAKAT (STUDI KASUS DI KECAMATAN CEPU, KABUPATEN BLORA)

Abstract

Komunitas punk dibeberapa daerah di Indonesia lebih terkenal dengan cara berpenampilannya dan perilakunya yang di cap negatif oleh masyarakat, dengan dandanan yang tidak pada sewajarnya. Tindakan mereka pun juga meresahkan masyarakat seperti meminum-minuman keras dan lain-lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis data deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam, dan observasi partisipatoris. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kehidupan sehari-hari dan kegiatan sosial yang dilakukan oleh komunitas punk memiliki banyak arti dan tidak selalu negatif namun dengan fashion dan gaya hidup yang tidak wajar atau berbeda dengan masyarakat membuat stigma negatif di masyarakat muncul, lalu perilaku anggota komunitas punk ada beberapa yang dipengaruhi oleh peran komunitas punk dan stigma negatif yang diberikan oleh masyarakat terhadap anggota komunitas punk tidak mempegerahui perilaku anggota komunitas punk, tetapi anggota komunitas punk justru melakukan penolakan terhadap pengecapan tersebut dengan cara melakukan aksi-aksi sosial dengan tujuan agar masyarakat tidak memandang negatif komunitas punk.

The punk community in several districts in Indonesia is famous for their appearance and bad behavior labeled by society, with improper dressings. Their actions also seem to bring uneasiness to society; one is their habit of drinking alcohol. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive data types. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews and participatory observations. The results of this study concluded that the daily life and social activities that has been done by the punk community has its own meanings and not always negative, but just because they have their unique fashion and lifestyle, the society creates a negative stigma for them, then the behavior of members of the punk community exists. Some who are influenced by the role of the punk community  and the negative stigma that society gives to members of the punk community do not influence the behavior of members of the punk community, then the negative stigma that the member of the punk community received from the society does not influence the real behavior of the member of the punk community, and the members of the punk community reject this labeling by carrying out social actions so that the community will not  see them as a bad community ever again.
