The Journal of Law and Legal Reform was first published in December 2019, and since the first edition has used the Open Access Journal management system fully and exclusively published in English. The Journal of Law and Legal Reform has been committed from the beginning to become a scientific journal in the field of law especially law reform issues. The Journal of Law and Legal Reform is also intended to be a forum for academics, researchers, practitioners, government, policy makers, students, and the general public in disseminating the results of their studies and research as a support for Indonesia's development in the legal sector in the future. The Journal of Law and Legal Reform m is published by Unversitas Negeri Semarang and organized by Postgraduate Program, Master of Laws, Law Faculty of Universitas Negeri Semarang. This journal is also intended to provide a place for postgraduate students to publish their research results.  Since 2020, The Journal of Law and Legal Reform has been successfully accredited and indexed by Science and Technology Index (SINTA) Ministry of Education, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (SINTA 3) and also indexed by Directory Open Access Journal.
