Rumusan masalah penelitian ini: (1) bagaimana kebutuhan siswa tentang pembelajaran bercerita adat istiadat Tabuk Centong di SMP Negeri 04 Larangan, (2) bagaimana kebutuhan guru tentang pembelajaran bercerita adat istiadat tabuk centong di SMP Negeri 04 Larangan, (3) bagaimana desain prototip media pembelajaran audio visual bercerita adat istiadat tabuk centong untuk siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 04 Larangan, (4) bagaimana hasil validasi ahli prototip media pembelajaran audio visual bercerita adat istiadat tabuk centong untuk siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 04 Larangan. Tujuan penelitian ini: (1) mendeskripsikan kebutuhan siswa tentang pembelajaran bercerita adat istiadat tabuk centong di SMP Negeri 04 Larangan. (2) mendeskripsikan kebutuhan guru tentang pembelajaran bercerita adat istiadat tabuk centong di SMP Negeri 04 Larangan. (3) menyusun desain prototip media pembelajaran audio visual bercerita adat istiadat tabuk centong Jawa tradisi tabuk centong untuk siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 04 Larangan. (4) mendeskripsikan validasi media pembelajaran audio visual bercerita adat istiadat tabuk centong untuk siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 04 Larangan. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian Research and Delelopment (R&D). Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan guru dan siswa membutuhkan media media audio visual bercerita bahasa jawa seperti cerita yang berasal dari daerah Brebes. Hasil prototipe media VCD bercerita adat istiadat Tabuk Centong berdurasi 08 menit 35 detik yang terdiri dari: (1) Pembukaan media, (2) Isi meia, (3) Penutup. Hasil uji ahli diperolah presentase 75,24% yang masuk kategori baik dengan beberapa revisi. Hasil penilaian guru terhadap prototipe media diperoleh presentase86,67% yang tergolong kategori baik.

The problem formulation of this research: (1) how students’ need about learning in tells java language in state junior high school 04 Larangan, (2) how teachers’ need about learning in tells java language in state junior high school 04 Larangan, (3) how to design prototype media of audio visual in tells Java language through Tabuk Centong tradition for students IX grade in state junior high school 04 Larangan, (4) how the result of prototype media audio visual in tells Java languagethrough Tabuk Centong tradition for students IX grade in state junior high school 04 Larangan. The purposes of this research: (1) Finding out students’ need about learning in tells java language in state junior high school 04 Larangan. (2) Finding out teachers’ need aboutlearning in tells java language in state junior high school 04 Larangan. (3) Discovering design prototype media of audio visual in tells Java language through Tabuk Centong tradition for students IX grade in state junior high school 04 Larangan. (4) Producing prototype media audio visual in tells Java language through Tabuk Centong tradition for students IX grade in state junior high school 04 Larangan. The design of this research uses research approachment of Research and Development (R&D). The technique of analysing data uses descriptive qualitative analysis.The analysis result shows teachers and students need media of audio visual in tells java language such as story of Brebes. The prototype result media VCD in tells Java Language Tabuk Centong tradition have duration 08 minutes 28 seconds that consists of: (1) opening of media, (2) content of media, (3) closing. The result of the expert test obtained percentage 75.24% that is involved as good category with several revision. The result of teacher assessment to prototype media obtained percentage 86.67% that is involved as good category.
