The June 2026 issue of Jurnal Geografi centers on the critical intersections of advanced disaster risk reduction, environmental change modeling, and urban socio-spatial development. A primary focus within this cohort is the integration of high-level computational and geospatial methodologies—such as deep learning architectures and temporal GIS analysis—to tackle hydrometeorological forecasting, local erosion dynamics, and drainage management for cultural heritage protection. Complementing these physical assessments, the issue strongly emphasizes human-environment interactions by evaluating public risk perceptions during tectonic hazards, mapping regional human development disparities, and analyzing the micro-scale impacts of rapid urbanization on community sanitation and public health behaviors. Ultimately, the collection highlights a highly data-driven, cross-disciplinary push toward enhancing climate resilience, environmental sustainability, and spatial planning quality across various Indonesian landscapes.
