About the Journal

Contemporary Issues on Interfaith Law and Society [ISSN Print: 2829-8373 ISSN Online: 2829-8624] is an open-access double blind peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Law Universitas Negeri Semarang and managed by Moslem and Christian Community at Faculty of Law Universitas Negeri Semarang, Indonesia. The Contemporary Issues on Interfaith Law and Society [CIILS] is committed to providing a forum for academics, researchers, scholars, students, and religious communities around the world. The CIILS is also dedicated to publishing innovative research on and study of the interactions that take place within and between religious communities in the law and policy context by multidisciplinary perspectives, including politics, economics, theology, psychology, and other related topics. By fostering conversation, the CIILS hopes to increase religious literacy, contribute to the field of interreligious hermeneutics, and address the issues surrounding interreligious relations, dialogue, theology, and communication in both the National [Indonesia] and Global contexts.
