Grammar instruction in the French Pedagogy Department at Universitas Negeri Semarang is offered only in semesters 1, 3, and 5. The curriculum covers two levels simultaneously within a single semester, as is the case for the Elementary Grammar course (A1/A2 levels). In this learning context, students struggle to understand the grammatical content covering both levels simultaneously. In this case, YouTube serves as a resource for learning elementary grammar, providing practical and effective explanations. This study was conducted to analyze the alignment of the content on the NLF-ACADEMY YouTube channel with the Elementary Grammar course curriculum. It is a descriptive qualitative study. The data for this study consist of 31 videos from the “French Grammar A1” playlist. According to the analysis, this playlist contains 21 videos that align with the CPMK, the SUB CPMK, and the Elementary Grammar curriculum, and 10 that do not. Consequently, the “FRENCH GRAMMAR A1” playlist on the NLF-ACADEMY YouTube channel can be used as an alternative resource for teaching the Elementary Grammar course.
