Infographic Design of PUSPAGA Semarang Services to Strengthen Family Functions

Abstract

The issue of low utilization of family counseling and education services at the Family Learning Center in Semarang City is caused by the services information not being presented clearly and attractively to the public. This research aims to design infographics as a communication medium for family counseling and education services at the Family Learning Center in Semarang City to support the strengthening of the family functions. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews with service managers and the psychologists on duty, and documentation studies. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify information needs, issues faced in service communication, and key content relevant to the community. The research results show that the service information has not been optimally conveyed because the presentation is not easily understood by the community. The infographic created is designed by organizing service information, access flow, and information about PUSPAGA in a concise and clear manner, so it is expected to facilitate public understanding and potentially increase the utilization of family counseling and education services in the city of Semarang.
