Feasibility of an Ibis Paint X Video Tutorial for Digital Dress Design in Vocational High Schools

This study aimed to develop and evaluate the feasibility of a video tutorial for creating dress designs using the Ibis Paint X application as a learning medium for Digital Design in vocational high schools. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach by adapting three initial stages of the ADDIE model: Analyze, Design, and Development. The tutorial was designed to present the complete process of digital dress design, including canvas preparation, tool introduction, body proportion placement, sketching, coloring, and finishing. Product feasibility was assessed through expert judgment involving three media experts and three subject-matter experts using a four-point rating scale. The data were analyzed descriptively using percentage scores. The results showed that the media feasibility reached 81.25%, while the material feasibility reached 84.26%. The overall feasibility score was 82.54%, indicating that the video tutorial was categorized as highly feasible. The findings suggest that the developed video tutorial is suitable as a supporting learning medium for Digital Design in vocational high schools. However, further studies involving student trials are required to evaluate its usability and effectiveness in actual classroom learning.
