General Information

  1. The journal is published twice a year; the number of volumes will vary.
  2. The journal will be produced after going through a reviewing process from the board of editors.
  3. The article could be based on research, scientific studies, analysis, and solutions relevant to electrical engineering and computer sciences. The article should never have been published before.
  4. The article should have at least two authors.
  5. The manuscripts should be sent to the OJS link: https://journal.unnes.ac.id/journals/jte.
  6. The Copyright Transfer Agreement (CTA) Form must be attached to the supplementary when submitting the article.

Specific Information

The article should be written in English. The article uses A4 paper. The article should be without any page numbering and composed as follows: Abstract, Introduction, Method, Result and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if any), Authors Contribution, and References.

The article begins with the title using font 24 pt CAPITALIZE EACH WORD format. The name of the author is written under the title using font 11 pt without any academic degree. The apostrophe is put behind the name of the author using the superscript format. The name of the institution (name of the institution, address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail) is written under the name of the author using Times New Roman 10pt. Should there be more than one author, please add the e-mail address of the corresponding author. The article's title, name of the author, and name of the institution are written at the centre of the field.

Abstract

Abstracts should range between 160 and 250 words. The abstract is written using Bookman Old Style bold font 9 pt in a single-column format. Keywords are written below the text of the abstract and separated by comma. Keywords should be written using Times New Roman bold font 9 pt.

Content

The article's content should be written left-aligned with a left margin of 1.43 cm, right margin of 1.43 cm, bottom margin of 1.25 cm and top margin of 2.50 cm. The article should be written using MS Word and Times New Roman 10 pt font, 1 space, and double-column format. Each article should be no more than 10 pages (including pictures and tables) justified.

Heading

Headings, or heads, are organisational devices that guide the reader through your paper. There are two types: component heads and text heads. Component heads identify the different components of your paper and are not topically subordinate to each other. Text heads organise the topics on a relational, hierarchical basis.

Pictures and Tables

Pictures and tables are placed in a text with a description. Pictures and tables are followed by the title of the picture placed just below the picture and the title of the table placed above the table. The title of the table and picture should be numbered. The picture should be able to be clearly printed. Pictures or diagrams/schemes are placed in the text, or if the picture is too big, it can be placed in the middle of the page. The picture should not be framed.

Equation

Equations should be written centre-aligned and numbered in brackets. The numbers are placed at the end of the right margin of the column.

Quotation

Quotation writing of an article should be written using the IEEE system. The template will number citations consecutively within brackets [1]. The sentence punctuation follows the bracket [2]. Refer simply to the reference number, as in [3]do not use Ref. [3] or reference [3] except at the beginning of a sentence: Reference [3] was the first ...

Unless there are six authors or more, give all authors names; do not use et al. Papers that have not been published, even if they have been submitted for publication, should be cited as unpublished. Papers that have been accepted for publication should be cited as in press.

The citation should be written in the reference part. Every cited reference should be written completely in the reference part. Unpublished reference is not suggested to be cited in the article. References should be written according to the format of the reference. This journal requires 80% of references cited from national and international journals. Maximum self-citation is 10%. Please use reference tools like MendeleyEndNote, etc.

Authors Contribution

Authors should ensure that the authorship of their research publications accurately reflects the contributions made by everyone involved in the work and its reporting. Only those who have significantly contributed to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study should be listed as authors. Others who have made significant contributions must be acknowledged as co-authors. In cases where major contributors are listed as authors, those who have made less substantial or purely technical contributions should be listed in an acknowledgement section. Additionally, authors should confirm that all authors have reviewed and agreed to the final version of the manuscript and their inclusion as co-authors.

References

Titles in the References section cannot be numbered. All reference items are in 8 pt font. Please use italics to differentiate the various fields as indicated in the References section. Number of consecutive reference items in square brackets (eg [1]). When referring to a reference item, please use the reference number only, as in [2]. Don't use "Ref [3]" or "Reference [3]" except at the beginning of a sentence, e.g. "Reference [3] indicates that...". Multiple references to each number in separate brackets (eg [1], [2], [4] - [6]). It is highly recommended to use reference management software (such as Mendeley) with the IEEE style option for writing source citations and reference lists. Some examples of reference items with different categories featured in the References section include:

  • Examples for books in [1]
  • An example of a book in the series in [2]
  • Examples of journal articles in [3]
  • Examples of seminar articles in [4]
  • Examples of patents in [5]
  • Examples of websites in [6]
  • Example of a web page in [7]
  • Example of manual Databook in [8]
  • Example datasheet in [9]
  • Examples of master thesis in [10]
  • Sample technical report [11]
  • Standard example in [12]

The article needs to have at least 20 references. The main reference sources (80%) are reputable and up-to-date journals within the last 5 years.

Article Submission

Submissions should be made online via the JTE submission site. The article should be written using MS Word. The reviewing process will be conducted by the Board of Editors. Any correspondence will be addressed to the main author. The author should revise the article according to the reviewer's advice. The Board of Editor are entitled to reject any articles which are not relevant to the subject of electrical engineering and computer sciences, are not up to date, or have been published in any other scientific publication.
