The Scientific Journal of Informatics (SJI) has migrated to a new platform starting in 2024 to enhance security and protect against potential threats, including journal hacking and other malicious activities. Scientific Journal of Informatics (p-ISSN 2407-7658 | e-ISSN 2460-0040) published by the Department of Computer Science, Universitas Negeri Semarang, a scientific journal of Information Systems and Information Technology which includes scholarly writings on pure research and applied research in the field of information systems and information technology as well as a review-general review of the development of the theory, methods, and related applied sciences. The SJI publishes 2 issues in a calendar year (May and  November).

One of the key advantages of this journal is its fast response time. For high-quality articles, the estimated processing times are as follows:

  1. Initial decision for review: 1–10 days after submission

  2. Decision after peer review: 6–8 weeks after submission

  3. Online publication: 1–4 weeks after acceptance
