MIGRATION OFFICIAL STATEMENT HERE

Sutasoma: Jurnal Sastra Jawa is an open-access journal managed by the Javanese Literature Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Semarang State University. The first published issue of Volume 1, No. 1 in 2012 had 1 article. Sutasoma: Jurnal Sastra Jawa is published twice yearly in June and November. Sutasoma: Jurnal Sastra Jawa has an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) in both print and electronic versions, p-ISSN 2252-6463 (printed version) and e-ISSN 2686-5408 (electronic version). The focus and scope of this journal are Javanese literature, Javanese local culture and wisdom, Javanese linguistics, and Javanese philology or Javanese manuscripts.

Sutasoma: Jurnal Sastra Jawa has been nationally accredited by the Ministry of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia and received a SINTA 4  rating, valid until Volume 1 of 2026 by the DECREE OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF HIGHER EDUCATION, RESEARCH, AND TECHNOLOGY OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, CULTURE, RESEARCH, AND TECHNOLOGY OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA NOMOR 177/E/KPT/2024.
Furthermore, Sutasoma: Jurnal Sastra Jawa has also been indexed in Garuda Ristekdikti,  Google Scholar, and Dimensions.

The November edition of Sutasoma: Jurnal Sastra Jawa presents ten articles that explore a wide range of topics within Javanese studies. This issue compiles scholarly contributions on Javanese literature, Javanese linguistics, Javanese manuscripts, and diverse cultural traditions practiced in Javanese society. Each article provides distinct insights into the depth and complexity of Javanese culture, offering both contemporary analyses and renewed interpretations of classical sources.

This publication underscores the diversity and scholarly significance of current research on Java, while encouraging broader interdisciplinary engagement. Future studies in Javanese literature, language, history, and cultural traditions are expected to continue expanding the field, enriching the academic discourse and strengthening the preservation and development of Javanese intellectual heritage.
