The era of technology and easy access to the internet is an essential aspect that cannot be missed in utilizing it as a medium for learning English vocabulary. Nowadays, many lessons have implemented technology to improve high school student's vocabulary, including using English video blogs (vlogs). This study explores how high school students perceive using English vlogs to learn vocabulary and discovers what difficulties high school students encounter when learning using English vlogs. Respondents of this study are 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Tuntang using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected using two instruments: a closed-ended questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. The research emphasizes students' perception of combining audio and visual elements in learning to learn English vocabulary and pronunciation. The results of this study revealed that most students positively viewed using English vlogs as a learning medium to learn vocabulary because it helped students identify new words, improve pronunciation, and increase motivation in learning. However, many students struggle to understand the vlogger's words because they speak too fast. The use of subtitles has a positive impact in helping to learn vocabulary using English vlogs. The findings in this study are expected to provide valuable insights for students, teachers, and researchers in developing more effective and interesting English learning media for students.
